We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Dance Instructor who can teach one or multiple dance styles. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to share their love of dance while contributing to a vibrant community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging dance classes in one or more dance styles (e.g., ballet, contemporary, ballroom, indian classical, folk dance, etc.).
- Develop lesson plans that cater to different skill levels, from beginners to advanced dancers.
- Create a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment for students of all ages.
- Provide clear instructions and demonstrations, ensuring students learn proper techniques and movements.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Choreograph routines for showcases, performances, or class exercises when needed.
- Ensure safety and well-being of students during sessions.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in one or more dance styles (ability to teach multiple styles is a strong asset).
- Previous teaching experience in dance, with a focus on working with diverse age groups and skill levels.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Enthusiastic, approachable, and patient, with a passion for teaching.
- Relevant dance certifications or professional dance training is an asset.
