Moncton Cares is committed to providing high-quality educational programs to help our community grow and thrive. We are expanding our language programs and are currently seeking a passionate and qualified English teacher to join our team on a part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach engaging English classes for beginners and/or intermediate students.
- Create lesson plans that align with course objectives and students’ learning needs.
- Foster a supportive and interactive learning environment.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support.
- Encourage active participation and cultural appreciation through language instruction.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Prior teaching experience in English is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to tailor lessons to diverse learning styles.
- Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to students’ success.
- Teaching certification or relevant degree in languages/education is an asset.
