❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

All services are by appointment only. When booking, you’ll need to select the type of legal issue (e.g., family law, immigration, tenant rights, small business, etc.) from a dropdown menu. This helps us match you with the most appropriate lawyer, legal aid representative, or support staff.

The initial consultation and referrals are free, but some services may have a subsidized fee to support sustainability:

  • 💼 Lawyer consultations (pro bono or reduced rate):
    $20 to $50 for a 30-minute session

  • 📄  Paralegal/document support (form filling, letters, guidance):
$30/hour, provided by trained paralegal students or community legal support workers

These are community rates, and we ensure no one is turned away due to inability to pay.

We support a wide range of legal topics, including:

  • 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦  Family Law (custody, divorce, child support)
