It was frigid winter dawn when we landed in Moncton. Luckily, we had our accommodation arranged before landing. It was an incredible experience where the unexpected blizzard was just waiting to greet us right outside the airport.

Monctoncares really helped me before I moved from Dubai to Canada for accommodation & settlement, It was really helpful that we had someone who was ready to take us and show us around.

I joined the Spanish class to learn a bit of Spanish and to meet people. Although I can’t say that a six weeks course made me fluent in Spanish. It gave me a good base to work with if I practice it. I also met some good people.

I have benefited a lot from these Spanish classes. I learned some new vocabulary words. It has also complemented my Duolingo daily lessons on my phone. I feel that I am ready to start reading Spanish books. My mother tongue is French. Spanish and French are relatively similar (Latin origin). I also made some new friends. I have also discovered other cultures. It will make future travel experience more authentic. I am doing French Language class from Moncton Cares. The Professor is a super friendly person who makes us understand and help to interact with fellow learners. It's actually a fun way of learning for Working people as well as a full-time student. Since it's arranged in the evenings of Tuesday. The timings are set just as per the convenience of the learners. Moncton Cares is doing a wonderful job by helping the Newcomers and preparing them to face this new world/ home called Canada. Thank you so much Team Monton Cares
