YMCA Moncton
The YMCA has the most recent swimming information on their schedules page.
YMCA members have many options for swimming. However, anyone can use the pools at the YMCA. There are three pools available: A therapy pool, a main swimming pool and a wading pool for children.
Currently, public can swim at Greater Moncton YMCA.
- Fridays 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
- Saturdays and Sundays: 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
- All public swimming is free to YMCA members
- Sunday swim is free for all non-members.
- Non-members pay Friday and Saturday prices
- Adult $8.00+tax
- For youth aged 13 and older, $5.50+tax
- Children (12 and under): $4.50 without tax
- Family (immediate family only). $15.00+tax
- You must wear a swimming cap
- Non-members over 18 must have a valid government-issued ID photo
- In the Y’s Aquatic Facilities, youth 11 years and younger must be accompanied with an adult
Riverview Pat Crossman memorial Aquatic Centre
Another great swimming option for families is the Pat Crossman memorial Aquatic Centre. It’s located behind Riverview High School. You can view their schedule by clicking.
- Saturday Open Swim: 1:30 p.m. – 3:20 p.m.
- Sunday Open Swim: 1:30 p.m. – 3:20 p.m.
- Tuesday pre-school swim: 9:00am – 10:00am
- Thursday pre-school swim: 9:00am – 10:00am

Dieppe Aquatic Centre
We recommend that you plan to take the children to the Dieppe Aquatic Centre soon. The large pool is filled with inflatable obstacles. The smaller pool has a sloped entrance that’s perfect for little ones. There’s also a pirate ship, water cannon and slide. You can find their schedule.

- You can wear bathing caps if you wish. You must tie your hair back if you have long hair.

Days Inn & Suites Moncton has drop-in and membership options for its large pool (which does not have a sloped or slide entry but is very large). Drop-ins are $5/person, and a family monthly pass costs $75. The best time to visit is during the week. If you are looking for a mini-retreat in Moncton, this hotel has some fun themed rooms!

OUTDOOR SWIMMING POOLS
Outdoor pools are generally open mid- to late-June until late-August/early-September. However, here are some basics:
- Ken Gabbey Community pool can be found at 1 Killarney Road. It has a large playground and ballfield as well as plenty of parking.
- The East End pool is managed by the City of Moncton at 35 Fergus Street, and the Centennial Park swimming pool at 811 St George Blvd.
If you are looking for the best local splash experience, visit Magic Mountain. The water park offers many attractions for children, including four slides at Puddle Jumpers Pond and a pirate ship, lighthouse and whale splash pad.
The Centre for Sports and Physical Education (CEPS) at the Université de Moncton is a great place to start. They offer public swimming on Saturdays from 3 PM to 4:25 PM for only $3, thanks to the City of Moncton’s support. On Sundays, the fun continues with a swim time at the same hours, costing $4 for children and $12 for adults.
If you’re in Sackville, keep an eye out for public swimming sessions at Mount Allison University’s pool. It’s a great way to meet fellow residents and stay active.
