Last weekend, we had a spooktacular evening filled with joy, fun, and cultural celebration at our Multicultural Halloween Party, held at BGC Dieppe from 6 PM to 9 PM. The event brought together families from diverse backgrounds, creating an atmosphere of unity and community spirit, with something for everyone to enjoy.
A Family-Friendly Celebration 🧛♂️🧙♀️
The event was crafted to ensure fun for both kids and parents, with everyone dressed in creative costumes, showcasing a wonderful mix of Halloween traditions from around the world. Free hot chocolate and water kept everyone refreshed throughout the night, ensuring that even the tiniest trick-or-treaters had the energy to join the festivities.
Kids’ Dance Competition: Showcasing Talent and Joy💃🕺
The kids absolutely stole the show with their enthusiastic participation in the dance competition. The energy on the dance floor was contagious as children twirled, spun, and showed off their best moves to festive beats. The excitement on their faces made it clear that the night would become a cherished memory.
Parents Steal the Spotlight Too! 🎶
Not to be outdone, the parents got in on the fun with a dance competition of their own. Dressed in costumes or dancing in sync with their little ones, they truly embodied the family spirit of the event. The friendly competition among parents kept the laughter and cheers going.
African Zumba Performance by Orre 🔥🥁
One of the biggest highlights of the evening was a powerful African Zumba performance by Orre. His rhythmic moves, captivating energy, and interactive style got everyone dancing and moving to the music. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the diversity of the community and connect through dance and rhythm.
Community Connections That Matter ❤️
The party wasn’t just about fun; it was about bringing people together. Families from different cultures, newcomers, and long-time residents came together to celebrate Halloween while sharing in the warmth of community. Events like these are an essential part of fostering friendships and building bridges between cultures, and this party was a perfect example of that spirit.
Thank You to Everyone Who Made It Special! 🎉
A huge thank you to all the volunteers, families, and participants who joined us and made the evening a success. A special shout-out goes to BGC Dieppe for hosting us, and of course to Orre for the unforgettable Zumba performance.
We look forward to more multicultural events in the future! Stay connected with Moncton Cares to be the first to know about upcoming celebrations and activities. Thank you for making this Halloween one to remember!
