Scavenger hunt with Augmented reality

In the heart of Moncton, where the vibrant energy of newcomers mingles with the rich, historical tapestry of the land, Moncton Cares has always sought to weave a community that cherishes its roots while embracing its future. Our recent collaboration with the First Folly Nation stands testament to this commitment, as we embarked on a journey to unearth the stories embedded in our landscapes, all while employing the marvels of modern technology.

A Confluence of Tradition and Technology

First Nations Fort Folly

We orchestrated an enlightening scavenger hunt, meticulously designed to educate newcomers about the profound history and heritage of the land they have chosen to make their home. The importance of understanding and respecting the historical events and experiences of those who have walked this land before us cannot be overstated. It is through this understanding that we can foster a community that is both inclusive and respectful of its diverse cultural narratives.

Let’s Nurture – Your Atlantic Tech Partner, shared our vision and was thrilled to provide their Augmented Reality platform to enhance the scavenger hunt experience for newcomers and nature enthusiasts alike. This innovative technology allowed participants to immerse themselves in the rich tales of the past, providing a unique, interactive learning experience that bridged generations and cultures.
